West Bergen offers a number of mental health care services to meet the needs of our community members. In a supportive and friendly environment, clients can achieve their personal well being.
Counseling Group
Counseling services for adults and seniors including individual, couples, family, and group therapy. The Center also offers medication consultation and management.
Center for Children and Youth
A counseling, psychiatric and addiction treatment services center for young people, 2-18 years of age and their parents. The Center has eleven specialty programs, each designed to meet the specific needs of children and families including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and Asperger’s related services.
Center for Substance Abuse Treatment
Outpatient substance abuse treatment for children, adolescents and adults. Services include early intervention, primary treatment and continuing care.
Employee Assistance Program
Assessment with short term treatment designed to help employees cope with personal problems that may be jeopardizing their job performance.
School-Based Services
A wide array of services to local school districts through a School Assistance Program (SAP).Through a contract with West Bergen, services are provided at a reduced fee.
Partial Care
A structured Day Treatment Program offering a broad range of mental health and support services tailored to the needs of individuals needing a more intensive level of care.
Residential and In-Home Services
A total continuum of supported living situations - group homes, semi-supervised apartments and in-home services.
Columbia University recently designated West Bergen’s Center for Children and Youth a “Center of Excellence” for the successful completion of advanced training in the areas of depression and behavior disorders.
West Bergen has been voted #1 nationwide in Customer Satisfaction by Mental Health Corporations of America (MHCA).
